Im not a puma owner, but im pretty sure the puma 1.4 lump is very hard to get bits for.

If i were you id go for either the 1.7 lump with some extra goodies which should be an easy conversion, or see if you can get a 2.0 zetec in there?

Witht eh 2.0 zetec the spec can be pretty much limitless.

1.7 parts arent that common.

Pumaspeed or pumabuild might be able to help , but ive heard nothing but bad things about pumaspeed (mates puma'd ka with its exploding gearbox and wires that have been added leading to nowhere + other things)
