My diff or viscous coupling in the trasfer box which sorts out the the delivery of torque to the front and rear wheels is worn and needs replacing.

Ford do not do these anymore so can,t get a brand new one and these were fetching £400 new, so I have been told that I can get mine refurbished and uprated with a price of £565 plus vat fitted.

What are your thoughts on this as I don,t want to get a secondhand one that might have the same problem.
