Most of the laptops available have the processer built onto the motherboard in order to aid cooling and keep the size down. Whilst it is possible to change these processers it is not easy and does require some soldering skills, read a lot of skill, time and patience.

With the availability of laptop processors being so low and the prices high it is nearly always easier and cheaper to buy a new laptop.
