however, since wilwood appear to have sorted the flexing prolems they were previously know for i'll probably get shot of them and go for the wilwoods instead.

Alex - people probably still use them as they're a cheap, easy and effective brake upgrade for older escorts etc from the m16 (i think that's the name of the standard caliper anyway) ones.. spaces and the other bits you need are readily available from loads of suppliers.
