Wastegate creep
I have a -31 actuator and have no form of boost controll i.e no amal valve or manuel boost controller or bleed valve, the boost is set to 12psi by adjusting the rod on the actuator but i was told that the actuator will start cracking open the wastgate too early say around 8psi unless you have some kind of control, resulting in longer spool time etc, is this true etc,
and if so a manuel boost controller, like a pressure valve would do the trick and keep the wastegate shut till 12psi,
