Figured this topic would be okay in here, as it's quite general....

I've got a Samsung D900 that I use for work related calls, and the reception is pretty poor on it, and very annoying when I can't take a call properly. A read around on the net and a bit of googling shows that sometimes this reception issue can be helped by flashing the phone with the latest firmware.

It all appears perfectly legal, and seems that people are doing this to remove the "branding" on the phone as well, to make it operate faster too.

Does anyone know anything about this, specifically with the D900? The only slightly more complete info I can find is all on chinese websites etc.... A few people on here work in mobile phone places, so might be able to assist......
