If you're asking whether it's a true synthetic or a hydrocracked oil then the answer is it's a hydrocracked.

Does it protect better than a true synthetic - No.

Just make sure you change it regularly would be my advice as it will not stay in grade for too long. (It will be a 10w-40 within a couple of thousand miles)
