Dojj mate - you're forgetting the starter motor location. They're on opposite sides.

Sierra is on the passenger side, Scorp 2.3 is on the drivers. I'm pretty sure the starter wont fit if you use a Sierra MT75 on the back of a 2.3 with the original 2.3 sump in place because the cast-in "dent" on the sump is in the wrong place and you won't get the starter lined up for getting the bolts in

I guess the way around that is to start grinding chunks off the 2.3 sump (which I don't know will work as there's quite a difference between the two sides) or loose the 2.3 sump and balancers and fit a Sierra 2.0 sump - which in itself isn't a hard job.
