trust me i have seen the fastest passenger aircraft in the world (vc10) at max chat on many occasions and they dont set off quickly!
have also seen them at full throttle on the tubes (where engine runs are done) many times as i was an aircraft mechanic,and not once did i ever see one move from the parking brake alone,let alone the chocks!
i can ithink of at least 2 passenger planes that are faster

i wasnt aware that there was any VC10's still in comercial service?
only with the RAF - my old man fixes them at St Athan
i too know this and used to go to St Athan quite a bit
