the other way to do it is to push the pedal all the way and then side step your foot and let it bang up into place again, but if you've pulled the pedal all the way to the foor and it's not clicked then it might be easier to buy a new clutch cable incase it's been stretched rather than do the box or the ratchet mechanism in the pedal box
