having read a few reports about the costs involved in staging an F1 race i have a few serious questions
1 why do you have to pay bernie if you want to host a grand prix at your circuit ? (surely it should be bernie that pays you ?after all he's the one thats hiring the goddamm venue, next time fast ford books ford fair they should ask how much silverstone is willing to pay for the priviledge )
2 are you entitled to a refund if the race is so boring you fall asleep ?
3 if all the circuits told bernie to go fook himself do you think he could manage to stage a race in his back garden?
4 if you got paid 7million from one race do you think you spend all that money in your lifetime(specially if your 94 ((ish)) ?
4a how much do cuban heels cost ?
5 how much do you think silverstone could hope to recoup out of that 7mil seeing as bernie also has the world television rights ?
imo just say you have 100,000 specators at £30 a pop, that equates to 3 milllion before tax, so how do get the other 4 million ? its not exactly llose change is it ?
