My mum has a mk2 1.8 on a V, drives it every day rain/shine/frost/snow, never garaged and she hardly looks after it (typical woman ) and its doing alright so far, had a scare when it suddenly started burning shit loads of oil but it stopped and returned to normal as quickly as it started so I dont know what happened there

you can get some really good roof treatment that I bought and applied for her seeing as she hasnt got a hard top and its out in all weathers, keeps the roof in top nick
