I dont want to go mad - as this is strictly hobbying. I have seen the Canon EOS400D for sale for about the £440 mark, though I understand that currently Canon are offering £50 cashback! Result!

This is a nice budget to start with, as it comes with a basic lens as well as the body.

It looks pretty good on the whole I must say.
