The big problem with Capris is rust. Find the best shell you can, a few extra hundred for a good shell is a lot cheaper that welding in new sill and wings etc.

The top tip with a Capri is to fit the Cosworth 24v V6 from the late Granadas to give a cheap 200 bhp.

Capri brakes problems are often down to knackered brake lines and components. With all new components a Capri will brake very well considering the age. All the upgrades for Mk 1 and 2 Escorts fit if you want even more braking power.

Loads of suspension upgrades are available and with new shocks and springs and polly bushes the handling can be brilliant, even in the wet!!
