Uumm ... my MAP sensor doesn't have a 'metal ring' ... unless you mean the braided earth strap/wire?
I ensured this terminal had a good earth (bare metal chassis and ring terminal
) ... but it comes from the harness and then goes to the mounting brackets lower bolt ...
Is this different to?
Looks like yours is a Early one aswell as it does'nt have the welded on nuts
