A tip of the year 2007 !!!!

A mate found a tip that can be very helpfull, if you have a problem of no starting engine, with Weber Marelli ECU :

Switch ignition on, with engine not running.

Disconnect phase sensor from distributor.
Reconnect : you can heard your AMAL valve “click” , your fuel pump running during 5 seconds approx., and your AMAL valve “click” one more.

Very kwick diagnosis :
if you heard your AMAL valve “clicking”, but not your fuel pump running, your ECU is OK but your fuel pump have a problem (or relay, or fuse)

If you heard nothing, your ECU have a problem (or relay, or fuse).
