Hello everyone I hope someone can help. I have a 56 plate Ka style with the 1.3 duratec, and having seen a few Ka's with RS turbo and zetec engines transplanted, I am seriously thinking of a similar project, The Duratec is in great condition with only 30k but is just not up to planned track days etc (used to have a Alfa GTV which was ok but was always needing money thrown at it) Any way my question is will the escort/fiesta gearbox be ok or will I have to adapt the Ka's gearbox to fit either a cvh or zetec?
If a Escort or Fiesta gearbox is ok will the Ka drive shafts have to be swapped as well?
