i didnt word it too well.

basically if you do one nut up at a time it cant move can it.

if you do each one up a bit at a time each nuts centres the wheel correctly.

and once its centred, you can do it right up.

you have to do this on a lot of cars running spacers etc as they dont have a centre lump for a spigot ring to fit on anyhow.
