I thought most of the decent cameras came with camera specific rechargables? the ixus has a small square battery that came with its own charger, cheaper than buying new normal batteries all the time.

The cannon in the links looks good, slightly down on spec though with the zoom and stuff, similar to Nicks is looking like what I'm after
