a stent is a tube that replaces a tube for some other purpouse

so if he can't eat and it's going to go down his neck and into his stomach, he's going to get some painfull heart burn

or it might go in up his bum so he can have a poo

or into his peepee so he can have a wee

i've had most of them and do not envy the pain he may suffer as a consequence
