I suck at electrics, but presumed a bulb is a bulb, and if a light was daisy chained in to other indicator wires, it will work regardless?

Im just trying to sort the Chasers fast flashing issue and if I daisy chain a VW polo front indicator, or BMW side indicator in, they dont light up (but the others its daisy chained in with still do, so the circuits there still), but if i plug others in, they do?

Annoying and confusing, as the Polo ones are the only ones the right size I can find.
