I use the AVO 2WD Std height springs and that is low enough, and the improvement to handling over the lower springs was immeasurable.
I cannot explain why this is, but Rainbird can. I believe there is a thread on this, which may come up on a search.

Agreed mate, Saph's WILL NOT handle properly if they are too low!
I know someone on here who runs his Saph a little higher than standard and it works fantasticaly!
