Default HAVIN TROULBLE WITH AVO! PLEASE READ

2wd Sapphire Cosworth

have bought some -25 lowering springs from woodford, Avo springs. It had -60 on b4. Had them fitted last week and the car is scrubbing on aarches worse than ever, and sits lower, I think they have sent another set of -60 not -25. So I emailed Avo and this is wat they sent bk.

many thanks for your e-mail

the spring kit that you should have is part number 30-025, please check that
you have been supplied with the correct part numbered kit
the kit 30-025 has been in production for over 15 years and we have not
experience any problems with this kit.
There are a number of issues on cosworths that can cause problems, front
spring pan hieghts, if your car has non std dampers, check spring pan height
to o/e units, on the rear unfortunately with age the rear arms bend which
cause a lower ride height, also check that the rubber that mounts around the
spring is in good condition.
If all this is correct, then i can only suggest that using 4x4 springs would
rise your car, there are no other alternative 2wd springs.

i hope this is of help to start with..

Well, I sent a This picture with the email I sent them.

Alan and Simon at woodford are tryin to help me, so no issues with them. The email was from AVO sales.

What you guys think?????????????
