I personally think it was part of the deal that they lost the drivers championship to stay in F1 after being caught cheating.

They let him stay out on fucked tyres....howler of an error for a top F1 team

They use 2 sets of tyres in qualifying for last weekends race...again howler of an error for a top F1 team (although another team did make the same mistake but still...)

Then his gearbox magically comes back to life after being knocked out for 40 seconds...either he did it himself by error or the team could have had a corrupt command ready to fire off if he looked like coming back into contention (which he was)..

It all adds up to more than coincidence in my eyes....and Ferrari (which is also owned by the gaffer of F1) have won the drivers and constructors

This season has been exciting to watch and rooting for Hamilton has really got me going this season but TBH the whole scenario of scandal, cheating, shoddy race decisions, mysterious errors and gearbox faults make me wonder if its actually a fair race I'm watching.

There is one saving grace for Hamilton I think.....If he won this year he would always be wondering if technology from Ferrari went into his car and gave him the edge. Next year, new car, no Alonso and a bit less pressure and haste I think we'll see some exciting stuff.
