Currently driving a Mk4 Escort Cabby with rst conversion. As far as I know the gearbox is standard and its got a AP Racing clutch fitted.

When I change down through the gears I get a sort of whining/grinding noise when I release the clutch.

Thats been happening since I drove back from my mates in Kings Lynn on Sunday night (I live in Surrey).

Now on my way to work this morning its started doing it when changing up through the gears.

I also noticed when I reversed into the car park space this morning its making the same noise in reverse.

Anyone got any suggestions as to what it might be????
