Sounds like another issue to me, as the BIOS shouldnt have changed at all..

I was going to suggest a couple of things (if it happens again)

a) go into safe mode, the command prompt, and type 'rstrui'
this will restore your pc to an earlier time (say last week)..

b) go into boot menu (press F8) and choose 'last known good configuration'.

Unless some software has fucked with the BIOS, I cant see your problem being fixed...

Try the above for any other probs tho
