the std carb/mfi head can be modified to accept the efi manifold

just takes a bit of thinking and some careful grinding with either an air tool of a mini grinding tool

dont attack it with a drill with a cutting bit , you need to control the porting and cannot do this with a drill

a decent match port will leave you with a solid 2mm sealing surface at the top

use a efi inlet manifold gasket to scribe onto the head , do the same on the inlet manifold

you do not need to port all the way up for the injectors as the do not touch the head but rather they have some clearance before the head.use the inlet manifold with injectors to check clearances as you go

while you are at it , clean the casting marks off and remove all rough marks in the ports , blend in all edges , polish the exhaust side. do not polish the inlet side , it must be rough

basic port and polish as above!!!
