this always works for me remove the sump spray some spray glue onto the sump fit the gasket and leave overnight now the gasket is solid and wont move/slide about when u offer up the sump, clean out all the sump bolt thread holes with a degreasent then slide the back right corner of the sump(as u look at the car) into position then turn the sump slightly and it should push straight up into position, put some threadlock onto the sump bolts and partialy tighten them up starting with each end then along the middle, keep going round tightening them bit by bit and make sure the gasket dosent push out of the side of the sump, refill with ur old oil and go for a 20 min drive then check for leaks if all is ok then drain the oil and fill with new oil, one week later recheck the tightness of the sump bolts just to make sure
