that was years ago, when they didn't have the "one engine per race weekend" rule
they'd tweak the boost for a flying lap knowing that qualifily was where it was at and if they did blow it up at least they knew where the limits were

and, in a surprising "bet you didn't know that" moment, ferrari supply last years engines to 2 teams and ford supply engines to 2 other teams
the ferrari engines not only make more power, but are also more reliable and cost less as well
yet another reason why jaguar ins't cutting the mustard
