Posties aren't striking because they get shit pay, they're striking because of Royal Mails latest PROPOSALS which will affect pay and conditions for the future.
It will also affect you all in some way or another which you don't seem to appreciate yet. For example, from next week our office is being forced to start 1hr 15mins later, which means mail will be even later getting out.
Also they're closing more Post Offices, and putting up the price of stamps.

as for parcel charges, YOUR ALREADY MORE FUCKING MONEY FOR PARCELS HENCE I USE PARCELS 2 GO 9 ( who also have yet to loose a pakage for me too might i add !!!)
contacting members of family,,, i could phone them, email them or text them,,,, i NEVER send birthday cards,, if i wanna give them money i pay it into there bank rather than let the postman nick it before they get it !!!
