imo posties are living in a by gone era,
the PO is no longer nationalised as such and they have to compete with people like dhl.

whos staff do more hours for less an hour and have to work.

the PO is unprofitable because people are stuck in the past.
I agree the postmans wage is crap,
but you cant take a job with a shit wage knowing you can top it up with
overtime, now the overtime is gone they just have a shit wage.

If you dont like it take your massive "skill" base and go and work for tnt etc???


And people wonder why companys would rather pay eastern europeans the same wage instead of a brit........
