one thing annoys me round here (north london) i told my friends they could leave their cars near mine (bank holiday weekend) when i had a party on the sunday. woke up to 4 friends having parking tickets before 8.30am as they have changed the rules, and you can now get tickets on single yellows on bank holidays
winds me up.....
you serious?? never knew that and i always park outside my house during the holidays
it has been introduced by our council (barnet) this summer

if you look up the rules on the barnet parking website it states that normal parking rules may apply on bank holidays also....so it covers there arse if one of the ticket happy wardens decides to work on a bank holiday
