The tyres came new with the 2nd hand FQ400 wheels I bought, so I swapped tyres over, put my F1s on the FQ400 wheels for road use and shoved the crappy Toyos on the Enkei wheels for track. For the amount of trackdays I will be doing, it doesn't warrant spending money out on 888s or equivalent track tyres or slicks.
If the situation changes and I'll be doing a lot of trackdays, I will get tyres that are decent on track or borrow a set off slicks off Andy.
Sounds like a good plan if your track use increases then! Didn't realise the T1s weren't your own personal choice (came with the wheels), hence me being surprised you had labelled them as your track set up - as I would have expected you to have chosen more suitable rubber.
As you said though, that's what it came with, so get them worn out asap and get some sticky stuff on there
