Agree with Si about them being unless for track tyres unless its wet and then there alright as wont get to hot. I ran a set of T1's on my Integra as just wanted a set of winter tyres, i ended up using them on a Dry trackday

Totally ripped the outside edges of tread on and melted and deformed the centres even worse than is shown in Si's picture.
Nice punning action Nash
I found the F1s I had on my Sierra seemed to overheat really easily in the dry on the road and I don't think I am a hard driver. Cheered me up somewhat when tyre tests started to report that although the best tyre in the wet usually, they were often the poorest in the dry out the top brands.
The best I ever found for dry road use in 15" was the B/Stone S-02 and the Yoko AVS sport - perhaps they suited my suspension set-up/driving style etc. With the Yokos discontinued in my size I've got the R888s and they are superb for my usage.
I wonder if Toyo will manage to get a set of T1Rs tested by Autocar next week in their tyre test ( they usually get excluded for one reason or another )?
