they should make more of a thing about encouraging drivers to use mirrors, leave stopping distances, think ahead, not pull out in front of vehicles etc etc i.e. the real things that cause accidents instead of blaming it on fags/mobiles/speeding.

most joe public motorists arent that arsed about being aware on the road cos they know if they have a crash the insurance will pay for it, they get a courtesy car and they probably get a new car out of it.
