BUT i wouldnt call the heads shite, both these engines need big boost due to seemingly low flowing heads, but these small ports etc are what gives both these engines seemingly fantastic torque and drivability over their "rivals".
Boost is your friend.
comparing a cossie engine a c20let, i think the cossie is shite at drivability despite its more restrictive head, but there are other factors, the standard cossie manifold for example is rubbish for drivability but great for top end power.
