Before I changed my own website BB software to V Bulletin

I had a major security issue with Free PhPBB (as used by Passion Ford) and all my registered member received unsolicited spam mail

It appeared someone had managed to hack PhPBB software

V Bulletin is NOT a free program (apprx £100) but all seems secure now
