Time for me to stick my spoon in!

A standard Zetec is designed to operate at 92deg. The operating temp of an engine is defined by the manifacturing clearances. So if you have remanufactured your engine to a differance tolerance then anything goes?

On a diff note we would not start the McLaren F1 engines untill the WATER temp reached 68 deg C. The cars were pluged into a water heater and circulator.
