My Mrs has a 1.7i (02 plate) and it seems to always crunch when going into reverse, thought it was just hers that did it but must be a common problem.

Can anything be done to sort it?

Great car though, drives like a go kart ! Steering goes a bit light on the motorway though. Feels every bit as fast 0-60 as my 2.0TDCi Focus, though definitely lacking top end
