My dad has just finished restoring his MK2 escort so thought i would post some pics for your comments.

He bought it about a year ago as a 1.3 Auto with 77k on the clock for the pricely sum of £650 with tax & test.

It was pretty mint with just some grot around the arches but that didn't matter as he had big plans for it

He managed to pick up another pretty rotten 2 door shell for £150 which provided all the uprated suspension, wheels, seats, alloy panels etc then sold the remaining shell on again.

So here are a few pics of the finished article, its running a 1760cc crossflow on twin 40's with a 5 speed box and a mk1 capri tank in the boot.
