I have seen people use wire brush attachment on a grinder/drill to remove the old underseal then once the underside is clean enough re stone chipped then painted.

In 3 weeks a mate of mine is bringing his S2 to the guy who sorts mine for a full spray under and over I'll get pics of the job and post them for you.
