if the car had pulled somthing through the turbo then it must have been the inlet pipe that was not fitted correctly, this could be easily missed if it wasn't making any noise.
When you take your car for mapping the mapper expects the car to be ready to be mapped, unless you state otherwise. I would expect the mapper to check the basics, but how far should he go???
