WRONG!!!! The vehicle will get inspected by the Police rather than VOSA, I have put several Cat B's on the road, you would be shocked at how little damage they sometimes have..

everyone and every site always state that cat b's should be bit's and the shell crushed
if this isn't the case then it looks like we have all been misled

The authorities will tell you it can't go back on the road if you ask but all you do is apply for the log book and wait for the letter from the Police asking to inspect it, once they have checked it they will inform the dvla to issue a log book. The process can take quite some time though, I have had it take as long as 6 months .
