Thing is you buy a S1, to start, you dont want a shitter coz more rust repairs, so say £3500. Fab work on tunnel is 4k (or buy a saff) Labour of putting it all together, spraying it. Then You have a nice clean shiney shell etc. You dont want to put old shit in it. So Well specced, freshly built engine, turbo, suspension, brakes, rads etc, sourcing parts, getting them powder coated blah blah. Mounts up. I talked to Nick at Spec one for two hours about it the other week
