when i got my vfr last year i put a new tyre on it and within a week had a nail in it. it didn't deflate at all and i spotted it immediately so had it repaired

on the firestorm, i had a new tyre on the rear as the guy selling it got a puncture when he had it up for sale. within 2 weeks, it's got a puncture

i was coming back from the PF meet and i seem to recall hearing a pop as i left the pub and went on to the roundabout. didn't think much of it and carried on. proceeded to do 150 up the a33 with nothing feeling wrong. but at the roundabout at the top of the a33 on the junction with the m4 it tipped in to the corners really easily and didn't feel right. had to stop at lights 3 times on the roundabout and it was going down very quickly then. carried on home about 6 miles at 50mph as it was getting late and i didn't want to piss about with recovery etc. that would have knackered any chance of repairing it, so it will be replaced this afternoon by my mobile specialist in time to ride to the goodwood revival on sunday

have looked into the slime and stuff, but unsure about it. it would only get you home really anyway, you would still need a new tyre. same with any repair that you do yourself by the roadside really imo. i don't want to trust my life at 160mph with something like that
