Your right mate, all the nails/screws/glass must see the fresh rubber coming towards them licking their lips. It happened to me with my 18's on my Lexus. Two brand new tyres and a nail in each within a week.

Not as bad on a car i know, but at least you noticed it on the bike. I assume your replacing and not repairing?

Having said that, have you seen that stuff you can put in your tyre and it seals up puctures instantly. Not sure if id trust it, but a good saftey feature.
