M K, you'd know what I was talking about if you'd ever taken a look at a standard filter compared to a 'free flowing' K&N type...worked out that the holes are around 6 times larger than standard filters...so theirfore let in particles 6 times the size....you can see through these 'free flowing' filters! so dust particles, 10,000 RPM compressor sucking in these particles...dont think I need to explain further?

If it was such a problem, then none of the tuners would use them, on demo cars/customers cars etc...
