Default Crank sensor gap

1st post so I think I need to say hello first as I usually like to have at least answered a question on a forum before I post one but I don't think I will be too much help here.

I'm running a DTA fuel injection on a flat four engine but as it is now fuel injection I needed a hall sensor.
I'm using a Fiesta / Escort 6 crank sensor due to it long reach.

I've not have any crank errors at low or high rpm like a lots of crank sensor issues I read but it totally failed on me the other day. I checked the shielded wire etc and in the end bought a replacement. Luckily unlike some of the bosch units it was only £22 from a dealer.

I want to make sure that I have the correct gap so can anyone tell me what the gap should be for it. The part number is 6C 315 89BF-AC and from what I have read it was used on the Fiesta and Escort up to 99.

thanks

Richard
