I'm running a Ferriday Engineer motor in my XR2turbo, I'm running 21psi at the moment, it's the standard 1800CVH crank but has Fardon steel rods, good for 350+bhp by all account.
Is your block a 1.6,1.8 or 1.9, it say's on the back of the block, top middle.
Mines bored +0.5mm which make it a 1820cc, The 1.8 block is a few mm taller (about 8-10mm) than the 1.6,
1.6,1.8 have different lenght rods, so i would guess that the 1.9 would be a bit longer again.
If it is defo a 1.8 crank and the blocks a 1.6 or 1.9 then the standard rods would be wrong as standard items.
