If you are comparing later Transits then they had the 202 block which was introduced in 1992. Cosworth just picked the centre two bore grades (2 and 3) otherwise the casting is the same.

For info.
the numbers on the blocks is the capacity followed by the year of introduction.
205 - 2 litre/1985
202 - 2 litre/1992
200 - 2 litre/1990

Only the 200 block (and there's three different types ) was specially cast for the Cosworth 4x4 engine.
